Music: MisfitKids and TotalOutcasts

Malcolm Kelley and Tony Oller. "Who?" you may ask. Only one of the most AMAZE duos out there. They met on the set of a TeenNick TV show called Gigantic and played best friends. They became best friends in real life and their rollercoaster has only been going up since then.

Their hit song "Thank You" a satirical and sarcastic ode to the generation preceding ours, garnered 500k hit on YouTube in two days, and when you hear the song,  you'll understand why.

Now I'm not one of those angst-filled teens and I don't completely agree that the adults totally ruined EVERYTHING. Some actually left behind a great legacy for us to continue, but I do agree that they will also be leaving us with a pretty big mess to clean up.

We (the youth) however, do have to step up because I understand that we are all human and imperfect and we will make mistakes.

Apart from all of that though, the vid and song are super amazing! And the boys... whoo...

So, MKTO keep being awesome and blazing trails. I'll definitely be right behind you.

Music: He Puts The Awesome In Music

First off, yes I know there's no "awesome" in music. I ain't stupid...

Anyway, the HE that I'm talking about is the ever uber cool- Macklemore!

He is just... wow...

Thrift Shop even with all the unnecessary swearing, the song is absolutely INSPIRING! It tells you something about spending. We don't need lots of cash and large stores to be happy.

However, if anyone TOUCHES Bergdorf's or Free People, I will hint you down and hurt you. A lot.

Getting back on track though, I love his crazy outfits, like the one he wore to the MTV Movie Awards (below).

His style is just amaze... btw, whoever is his music video stylist is the awesomest person ever.

He is an absolute inspiration. Love you Mack! Check out his most popular songs on YouTube.

Can't Hold Us and Thrift Shop

Cred for the idea totally goes to my new awesome friend: Tanja who has THE best taste in music (she like Marina and the Diamonds! Aaah!)

We're going to be mentionong each other's blogs and stuff. She's uber-cool.

G97: Made In 1997

Hola, chicas (and chicos. I'm not biased)

No, I'm not Spanish. I'm not Yiddish either as the name seems to imply. I'm 99.9% Nigerian. The .1% is British-Italian (two cultures I adore).

My late grandfather named me Golda after Golda Meir, the Israeli Prime Minister. She was the epitome of awesome. Think Margaret Thatcher with greyer hair. She was cool...but she died in the '70s. She made a name for herself though, being described as the "strong-willed, straight-talking, grey-bunned grandmother of the Jewish people".

This blog is about well, everything. It does focus a lot on fashion and music and does it's best to be cool (although I think that's pretty effortless on it own. Teehee.)

My real name will not be disclosed, because I just love being anonymous, but thou shalt love me. I will however tell you that I am 15, and awesome. I am also dark-skinned and I have teeny eyes that my aunt loves to call "Chinco" (that's Nigerian slang for Chinese). I wear glasses, and I am short (and proud of it baby!)

I will have to schedule my blogging (every Sunday maybe) but this thing is going to rock. Don't worry, I'm a veteran-ish...

That's it I guess. Enjoy the blog peeps!

xox,
Golda.
